Terri Wilkerson Realty - Real Estate Wanted

This section was an experiment which I started late in 2002 when I asked the Ann Arbor News to create a new category within the real estate section so that my buyer clients could benefit from advertising — like my seller clients benefit when I advertise a house for sale. This new category appeared for the first time on January 19, 2003 as section 1006 Real Estate Wanted.

Unfortunately, no one really paid much attention to it, or this section of my web site. Since the traditional methods of networking amoungst my colleagues and stalking the MLS work, I decided to not put more energy into this approach and have erased such info from my site. When I redo my site sometime in the next year, this section will not appear.

Instead, I am putting my energy into an experiment in community on the web through a site I am developing called AboutAnnArbor.info. AboutAnnArbor.info is intended to be a basic reference site for folks who live in Ann Arbor Area which becomes increasingly rich by volunteer contributions - from folks like you. Look for short articles on topics of interest to local home owners and those thinking to move to Ann Arbor. Think of it as an updated version of what the back fence used to be - a place to start collecting information when you have a question which helps you in your research. AboutAnnArbor.info will also have lots of photos to visually communicate what a great place the Ann Arbor Area is.

We have the basic site built in asp.net and are beginning to load content. We hope that it will be online for you to start using by the Fall of 2007. If you have asp.net expertise, or would like to submit a short article or photo to share with others, please contact me at the link below. Any time you have the thought, "If I had only known what I know now..." about a subject related to living in the Ann Arbor Area, that is a tip off to consider writing a short article to help others who come down the same road.
